Visual Texture

Do you ever look at a room and think that something is missing? My most recent installation left me thinking about how important visual texture is to a design. Texture adds visual weight, visual interest and balance to a room. It becomes increasingly important when you are using a monochromatic color palette.

The client is an avid reader and wanted somewhere that she could curl up with her favorite novel. Isn’t this reading chair just peachy keen?! The fun fur pillow and ruched quilt add yet another layer of texture and interest.
